The way I work, and the materials I use, forced me to engage with colours I would normally avoid. I value this constraint: although the decisions remain subjective, the source material partly governs the composition, determining its form and palette.

The original material—lifestyle magazines and similar publications—remains present but rearranged. The result can be surprising, and sometimes repulsive.
